These programs have been selected by our independent Grant Review committee seeking those that will have the greatest impact in serving uninsured or underinsured women witin Komen Aspen's service area. Please note that Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is not a direct service provider. Komen Affiliates award grants only to other non-profit organizations, educational institutions and government entities within our defined service area and through our community needs assessment need of Pitkin, Eagle & Garflield counties. In 2013 the Affiliate will be funding nearly $213,000 in community health grants. To date, the Affiliate has invested over $5 million dollars in local programs.

Community Health Services (CHS) contracts with Pitkin County to provide public health nursing services. The women's health program provides access to preventative services for low income, uninsured, underinsured and at-risk women in the Roaring Fork Valley.
