Funding Priorities

A minimum of 25 percent of the net income from each domestic Affiliate Race for the Cure supports the national Komen for the Cure Grant Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific conferences around the world.

Up to 75 percent of the net income from each domestic Affiliate Race, Ride & Ski for the Cure events stays in the local community to fund breast health education, breast cancer screening and treatment projects.

Brief Summary of Priorities

Based on the results of our community profile we primarly focus on screening, education and we support programs aimed at addressing holistic therapies and the importance of mind, body and spirit in the fight against breast cancer.
